About Vale Therapies…
Therapist Rachael Pike is qualified in Sports Massage and Trigger Point Therapy (ITEC Level 3) and Holistic Massage, Reflexology and Aromatherapy (VTCT Level 3). She treats clients from all over the county and beyond from her treatment room in Fladbury, Worcestershire. She also works out of an award-winning spa in the north Cotswolds, where she is a Massage Therapist and Reflexologist. It was here that she was personally trained by Beata Aleksandrowicz, founder of Aleksandrowicz System and one of the world’s leading experts in massage, healing and well-being as well as a judge at the National Massage Championship: http://www.beata.website Her interest in sports massage began as a sometime injured competitive amateur tennis player. When clients asked her to treat specific areas of muscular imbalance or tension, she felt limited in what she could treat with holistic and Swedish massage. She therefore qualified in L3 Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Anatomy and Physiology at the highly regarded Cotswold Academy in Cirencester. Some of Rachael’s clients have disabilities or find it hard to leave the house, so she can also provide mobile treatments for clients at home within a 15 mile radius of her treatment room.
She is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, www.fht.org.uk the leading professional association for complimentary therapists. As a therapist, she is listed on the FHT Complementary Healthcare Therapist Register, which has been approved by the Professional Standards Authority, under its Accredited Registers programme. The Accredited Registers quality mark gives extra peace of mind for anyone looking for a complementary healthcare therapist, letting them know that anyone who holds the mark is committed to high standards and has been trained appropriately. Membership of the FHT means that her qualifications have been verified as genuine, that they are respected and that she is fully insured for her stated therapies. As a member of the FHT, she follows a strict professional code of conduct and updates her knowledge and skills with continued professional development on a constant basis.
As a believer that conventional and holistic therapies can complement each other, she will never give conflicting advice to that of your GP. Her goal is to work with you to find a more balanced, pain-free, relaxed and happier state of being by providing high quality treatments at sensible and affordable prices. If you have had three or four treatments and your issue is not improving, she will not hesitate to refer you to another, appropriate healthcare professional. Anything discussed in the treatment room will remain strictly confidential.
If you are looking for a therapist, do ensure that they are registered with a professional body and that they hold relevant, respected qualifications. There are many online and weekend courses out there, but these do not equip someone with enough knowledge, practice and understanding to work as a sports massage therapist or complementary therapist.

THE TREATMENT ROOM
The dedicated treatment room is in the peaceful riverside village of Fladbury, near Pershore. It is at the front of the house and provides a warming, nurturing space for you to heal and recharge. I recommend that you visit me in my beautiful treatment room in Fladbury rather than book a mobile treatment if you are able, as you will benefit from the calming atmosphere and music and will not be interrupted by children, dogs, cats, phone calls or other members of the family…
There is a £5 surcharge for mobile appointments within a 15 mile radius.
